Jinx, also known as Powder, is a prominent character in the animated series Arcane and the video game League of Legends. She is a complex and chaotic figure originating from the undercity of Zaun, a polluted and neglected district beneath the affluent city of Piltover.

Her early life was marked by trauma and loss. Initially a well-meaning but accident-prone young girl, Powder's attempts to help her older siblings Vi, Mylo, and Claggor often resulted in disaster. A catastrophic event involving advanced technology, intended to aid their rebellion against Piltover, led to the deaths of Mylo and Claggor, causing a rift between Powder and Vi.

Abandoned and traumatized, Powder was taken in by Silco, a ruthless crime lord who reshaped her into Jinx. She is characterized by her erratic behavior, impulsive actions, and a penchant for explosive weaponry. Jinx's mental instability and violent tendencies are a direct consequence of her past trauma and perceived abandonment, making her a sympathetic yet dangerous figure in the narrative.
